And Now… A Nearly 3-Minute ‘Furious 7’ Trailer

If the Super Bowl trailer wasn’t enough for you, don’t worry, it wasn’t enough for Universal either as they have unleashed a new, nearly three-minute trailer for Furious 7 and the ridiculousness continues. I wonder, at what point does it all become too much? At what point do we finally say, “Enough!” and ask this franchise to just dial it back? Obviously it won’t be with this film as our morbid curiosity in seeing how they’ve handled the untimely passing of Paul Walker, but with what I can only assume to be plenty more Fast and Furious films in the future is this a franchise where each installment must continue to top the last in terms of spectacle or could they actually deliver, a smaller, lower budget version and still keep the audience captivated?

For now that’s a question that will simply need to let those questions float in the ether as you absorb this latest trailer. Give it a watch below and get pumped for the film’s April 3 release.

Continuing the global exploits in the franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead the returning cast of Fast and Furious 7, which will be released by Universal Pictures on April 3, 2015. James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series, and Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel return as producers.
