I’ve decided I will be referring to Tak3n as Takthreen from here on out and I implore all movie blogs to do the same so please, contact your favorite movie bloggers on Twitter and tell them to get this one phonetically correct.
That said, today 20th Century Fox has premiered the first trailer for Takthreen, which finds Liam Neeson back as Bryan Mills in a new installment in the Taken franchise, only this time no one is “taken”, instead Mills is on the run from the bad guys out to get him. I speculated on whom these bad guys must be, but hopefully the trailer gives you a better idea of what to expect.
Takthreen co-stars Maggie Grace and Forest Whitaker and is set to hit theaters on January 9, check out the trailer and poster below.
Liam Neeson returns as ex-covert operative Bryan Mills, whose reconciliation with his ex-wife is tragically cut short when she is brutally murdered. Consumed with rage, and framed for the crime, he goes on the run to evade the relentless pursuit of the CIA, FBI and the police. For one last time, Mills must use his “particular set of skills,” to track down the real killers, exact his unique brand of justice, and protect the only thing that matters to him now – his daughter.
