It’s always a strange thing in this business when a movie you really don’t care too much about, but are still mildly interested in seeing if they can finally pull something off that registers as more than just average, is just around the corner. Hell, sometimes it’s hard to believe Transformers: Age of Extinction is just over a month away as it seems like a movie that would perpetually be on the horizon rather than one that would actually be hitting theaters.
Speaking of which, wouldn’t that be a great social experiment? Just announce a movie as coming out… don’t set a release date, continually announce new cast members, leak set photos, marketing material, etc. etc., but never actually release it. A studio could attach a new trailer to every one of their upcoming films, most of which would be listing the names of the people starring in the film, much like the roll call trailer and posters for The Expendables 3.
Either way, Transformers: Age of Extinction is on the way and here’s a new trailer with some new footage.
