If Disney thinks they are winning any friends in the blogging realm with the ten-word title for Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day they can guess again. No one wants to say that title let alone type it out, which is why I will be cutting and pasting it any time I have to refer to it leading up to the October 10 release date.
The film is based on the award-winning children’s book by Judith Viorst, and it follows young Alexander (Ed Oxenbould) through the mishaps of a terrible day for his family after he wishes they all would experience the same troubles he does.
Directed by Miguel Arteta (), the film stars Steve Carell, Jennifer Garner, Dylan Minnette, Kerris Dorsey, Megan Mullally, Jennifer Coolidge and Bella Thorne.
