I referenced A Long Way Down in my write up of the several book adaptations hitting theaters this year. The film is an adaptation of Nick Hornby‘s novel of the same name, centering on four people who meet on New Year’s Eve and form a surrogate family to help one another weather the difficulties of their lives.
[amz asin=”B000P2A3WI” size=”small”]Directed by Pascal Chaumeil, the film stars Pierce Brosnan, Toni Collette, Aaron Paul, Imogen Poots, Rosamund Pike, Sam Neill and Tuppence Middleton and will soon make its premiere at the Berlin Film Festival followed by a March 1 release in the UK while it still doesn’t have a U.S. distributor.
