With the blessing of Sam Raimi and the clear cooperation of Bruce Campbell (who’s also producing), Evil Dead is getting a remake over 30 years after the original was first released and today a teaser for tomorrow’s trailer has arrived using footage from the film along with snippets of the New York Comic Con panel discussion featuring Campbell, director and co-writer Fede Alvarez and star Jane Levy.
This retelling features five friends holed up at a remote cabin where they discover a Book of the Dead, which releases a demonic force, possessing each until only one is left to fight for survival.
