‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ Gets a New Trailer Out of Belgium

Columbia has been working a viral campaign for their upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man that has movie blogs taking pictures of junk-filled backpacks and posting those pictures online. I guess the gist of the campaign is for some people to say, “Look what I got and you didn’t.” When they’re not doing that they are looking for clues inside toys made for the film. In my estimation, this new trailer for the film out of Belgium will get people a little more excited.

The Amazing Spider-Man is set to hit theaters on July 3 and following the launch of last week’s trailer, director Marc Webb discussed this new film with The Hollywood Reporter at the Visual Effects Socirty Awards, speaking in large part about the fan event that was held and a bit about the film’s villain, The Lizard.

“We spent a lot of time thinking about the biology of a lizard, and how his muscles work, and there’s an entire staff of people dedicated to making him look lifelike,” Webb said. “It is an extraordinary task, and very, very difficult. It takes a lot of time, which a lot of people in this room can attest to.”

There’s some new footage in this just released international trailer so give it a peek below and let me know what you think in the comments.
