The trailer for The Dictator has debuted, giving us our first look at Sacha Baron Cohen‘s latest outrageous comedy in which he plays a dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.
Inspired by the best selling novel “Zabibah and The King” by Saddam Hussein, the film was written by Cohen and “Seinfeld” alums Alec Berg, David Mandel and Jeff Schaffer and co-stars Ben Kingsley, Anna Faris, John C. Reilly, Megan Fox and B.J. Novak.
Paramount is set to release the film on May 11, 2012.
