Second ‘American Reunion’ Trailer

People seem genuinely excited for the latest installment in the American Pie franchise, American Reunion, and based on reactions around the web this second full trailer seems to be turning the cynics into believers as the gang from East Great Falls is getting back together for their ten year high school reunion.

Universal is definitely doing their best to make sure this film is talked about early and often as the film doesn’t hit theaters until April 6, 2012 and yet we’ve already had a small photo booth teaser, a trailer and now this second look bringing back Stifler (Seann William Scott), Jim (Jason Biggs), Michelle (Alyson Hannigan), Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas), Vicky (Tara Reid), Oz (Chris Klein), Heather (Mena Suvari), Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas) and Stifler’s mom (Jennifer Coolidge). Perhaps they just assumed some of you forgot who they were and considering the first film hit in 1999 that some of you never got to know them in the first place.

Either way, check out the second full trailer from the film directly below and if you missed the previous red band teaser check it out right here.

In the comedy American Reunion, all the American Pie characters we met a little more than a decade ago are returning to East Great Falls for their high-school reunion. In one long-overdue weekend, they will discover what has changed, who hasn’t and that time and distance can’t break the bonds of friendship. It was summer 1999 when four small-town Michigan boys began a quest to lose their virginity. In the years that have passed, Jim and Michelle married while Kevin and Vicky said goodbye. Oz and Heather grew apart, but Finch still longs for Stifler’s mom. Now these lifelong friends have come home as adults to reminisce about—and get inspired by the hormonal teens who launched a comedy legend.
