International Trailer for Clive Owen’s ‘Intruders’

An international teaser has debuted for Juan Carlos Fresnadillo’s Intruders starring Clive Owen, Daniel Bruhl, Carice Van Houten and Kerry Fox. So far there isn’t much information on the plot other than that it centers on an 11-year-old girl who is forced to confront childhood demons. I guess the question based on this trailer is to ask whether those demons are real and what’s in the closet?

Fresnadillo last directed 28 Weeks Later and was tapped to direct the remake of The Crow starring Bradley Cooper, but that film is currently dealing with some legal entanglements.

Clive Owen was last seen in David Schwimmer’s Trust and also has a role in the upcoming The Killer Elite starring alongside Jason Statham, Dominic Purcell and Robert De Niro for director Gary McKendry.

Universal has not yet set a release for Intruders, but based on what I’m seeing here a fall release sometime around… oh, October 31 might be a good guess if the film is any good. IMDb says it arrives on October 7, but I’m going to guess that’s an international date at the moment since I have yet to see an official announcement stateside.
