I never thought I would see the day I would post an article about a faux trailer that will show up inside a movie, but apparently January 16, 2007 is that day. Basically call me happy I didn’t ever write an article, or even mention, the faux trailer in The Holiday starring Lindsay Lohan and James Franco, that would have been uncalled for.
As for this bit of news we have word from Fangoria on Rob Zombie’s little trailer that will be featured in between the Tarantino and Rodriguez double feature Grindhouse for a film called Rob Zombie’s Werewolf Women of the SS. Yeah, this is Zombie news, you can’t compare that to Linds and Franc.
Anyway, Fangoria says that not only is Zombie directing the mini trailer but he has cast his Rejects and 1000 Corpses cast members Bill Moseley, Tom Towles and wife Sheri Moon Zombie to join the fray along with… here’s the real news… Nicolas Cage donning creative facial hair as Fu Manchu. Ha!
The faux trailer will portray a film that Zombie says “is the story of Hitler’s plan to create a race of superhuman werewolf women to win the war—based on actual documents found in Hitler’s bunker.” Where the Manchu fits in I am not sure.
