Tina Fey-Amy Poehler Comedy Sisters Premieres First TV Spot

Tonight, comedy titans Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are reuniting to host the Golden Globe Awards, presented on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern/5 p.m. Pacific, for the third time, and Universal Pictures are using the opportunity to debut the first picture and TV spot from the duo’s upcoming comedy Sisters, which will open nationwide on December 18.

Previously called The Nest, the comedy, written by former “SNL” and “30 Rock” writer Paula Pell and directed by Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect), co-stars Maya Rudolph, John Leguizamo, Ike Barinholtz (Neighbors), Bobby Moynihan, Josh Brolin and John Cena. The film is about two disconnected sisters summoned home to clean out their childhood bedroom before their parents sell the family house. Looking to recapture their glory days, they throw one final high-school-style party for their classmates, which turns into the cathartic rager that a bunch of ground-down adults really need.

ComingSoon.net visited the set of the movie last year and we can’t wait to share some of the stuff we saw sometime later this year, but in the meantime, you can watch the first TV spot in the video player below.
