CS Video: The Spectre Cast Takes You Behind the Scenes of the New James Bond

“It’s going to feel, perhaps, as if some big shadows from Bond’s deep past are going to resurface,” teases Sam Mendes, the Academy Award-winning helmer of the next James Bond adventure, Spectre.

Pinewood Studios’ 007 Stage was host this week to a very special event wherein EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced the title and cast of next year’s 24th James Bond film, Spectre. Now, ComingSoon.net takes you back stage in a set of extended video interviews with Mendes, producer Barbara Broccoli and cast members Daniel Craig, Ben Wishaw, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, David Bautista, Léa Seydoux, Andrew Scott and Rory Kinnear. What’s more, there’s another look at the film’s brand new car, the Aston Martin DB10. Check it all out in the player below and find more than 40 stills from the event in the gallery viewer below!

In the movie, a cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.

SPECTRE (SPecial Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion), as Bond fans know, is a fictional global terrorist organization featured in Ian Fleming’s novels, as well as the films and video games based on those novels. The organization was led by the villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld, although the cast is definitely playing it coy about whether or not Blofeld will actually appear in the new film.

Spectre, written by John Logan and Neal Purvis & Robert Wade, hits theaters November 6, 2015.
