The first official Wolf Man teaser trailer is here, previewing the reboot of the iconic horror villain from Blumhouse and director Leigh Whannell.
What happens in the Wolf Man teaser trailer?
The Wolf Man teaser trailer doesn’t give away too much but does show stars Christopher Abbott and Julia Garner going through their own stressful changes. For Abbott, this means turning into the titular Wolf Man while for Garner this means trying to keep their family safe from him.
The Wolf Man reboot is currently set to release on January 17, 2025.

The film will star Julia Garner, Christopher Abbott, and Sam Jaeger, among others. The film will follow the story of Blake (Abbott) and Charlotte (Garner), a couple who moves into Blake’s rural home in Oregon.
“Blake persuades Charlotte to take a break from the city and visit the property with their young daughter, Ginger (Matlida Firth),” reads the official synopsis for the film. “But as the family approaches the farmhouse in the dead of night, they’re attacked by an unseen animal and, in a desperate escape, barricade themselves inside the home as the creature prowls the perimeter. As the night stretches on, however, Blake begins to behave strangely, transforming into something unrecognizable, and Charlotte will be forced to decide whether the terror within their house is more lethal than the danger without.
Leigh Whannell previously directed Blumhouse’s The Invisible Man reboot. He co-wrote the Wolf Man script with Corbett Tuck, Lauren Schuker Blum, and Rebecca Angelo. The modern remake will reportedly center around a family who’s being terrorized by a lethal predator.
