The first official Ultraman: Rising trailer is here, previewing the upcoming animated film from Netflix.
The new trailer shows off more of baseball superstar Ken Sato, who takes on the mantle of Ultraman, and some of the action he’ll get into. The opening scene of the trailer shows Sato taking on a giant creature, while the rest of the trailer focuses on Sato finding a creature that believes Sato to be its mother.

What is Ultraman: Rising about?
“When baseball superstar Ken Sato returns home to Japan to pick up the mantle of Earth-defending superhero Ultraman, he quickly finds more than he bargained for as he’s forced to raise the offspring of his greatest foe,” reads the movie’s official synopsis.
Ultraman: Rising was written and directed by Shannon Tindle alongside co-director John Aoshima, as well as written by Marc Haimes. The film was produced by Tom Knott and Lisa M. Poole.
