Mercy Road Trailer: Luke Bracey Tries to Save His Daughter in Suspense Thriller

Well Go USA has released official Mercy Road trailer for its upcoming psychological thriller, starring Hacksaw Ridge’s Luke Bracey.

The suspense-filled video shows Bracey as a desperate father trying to race against the clock to save his daughter, who got kidnapped by mysterious psychopath called The Associate. The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on October 6, followed by its digital release on October 10.

What to expect in Mercy Road?

“After committing an impulsive, vicious crime while searching for his missing daughter, a frantic father goes on the run from law enforcement and soon begins receiving chilling calls from an unknown entity claiming to know her whereabouts,” reads the synopsis. “As he faithfully follows the caller’s increasingly unhinged instructions, he is driven perilously close to the edge of sanity while discovering exactly how far he is willing to go to save his child.”

Mercy Road is directed by John Curran from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jesse Heffring and Christopher Lee Pelletier. Joining Bracey are Toby Jones as The Associate, Alex Malone as Terri, Martha Kate Morgan as Ruby, Susie Porter, and Huw Higginson.

It is executive produced by Heffring, Pelletier, Jack Christian, Ryan Hamilton, D.J. McPherson, Louise Nathanson, Clay Pecorin, and Anna Vincent. Producers are Gary Hamilton, Daniaile Jarry, Penny Karlin, Michelle Krumm, Alex Proyas, and Ying Ye.
