ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive The Heavy trailer alongside photos and a poster for the Harrow Brothers-directed indie drama movie.
What is The Heavy about?
“The Heavy follows two brothers who take their little sister on a trip to clear her mind after a traumatic event,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “As their ugly past starts catching up with them, things begin to spiral out of control.”
The Heavy’s directors released a statement, which reads:
“A main theme of the film, and unintentionally all of our work, is family. Here, we wanted to show the power of the familial bond under unconventional circumstances. As cliché as it might sound, what would you do to protect the ones you love? Every family is different, may look different, may act different, but in the end, family is family and you’re bound to them.”
