Knives Out 2 Clip Teases a Murder Mystery Game From Edward Norton

Netflix has dropped a brand new clip from Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, the upcoming all-star sequel to Rian Johnson’s acclaimed 2019 film. The movie is currently playing in select theaters and will be followed by its streaming debut on December 23.

The Knives Out 2 clip features Edward Norton’s billionaire character Miles Brown as he explains the rules of his murder mystery game to his guests. One of the game’s participants is Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc, who’s curious if the winner will get an iPad or not.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is once again written and directed by Rian Johnson, who is also producing the film along with Ram Bergman via their T-Street Productions banner. The sequel follows Daniel Craig’s Detective Benoit Blanc as he travels to Greece to peel back the layers of a mystery involving a new cast of colorful suspects.

Joining Craig are Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy), Edward Norton (Fight Club), Janelle Monáe (Hidden Figures), Kathryn Hahn (WandaVision), Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton), Kate Hudson (Almost Famous), Madelyn Cline (Outer Banks), Jessica Henwick (Love and Monsters), and Ethan Hawke (Sinister).

In 2021, Netflix successfully won the rights for Johnson’s two Knives Out sequels, which reportedly cost the streamer over $400 million. The first film grossed over $311 million at the worldwide box office and received critical acclaim and multiple award nominations, including an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay.
