The video features a father who accidentally catfishes his son after he creates a fake social media account just to see what’s happening with his troubled kid. Things get worse when his son starts falling for his fake girl identity, leading his situation into complete chaos.

I Love My Dad is written and directed by leading star James Morosini, and the film is based on his true life experience. Joining Oswalt and Morosini are Claudia Sulewski, Lil Rel Howery, Amy Landecker, Ricky Velez, and Rachel Dratch.

“The film follows Chuck, a hopelessly estranged father who desperately wants to reconnect with his troubled son, Franklin,” reads the synopsis. “Blocked on social media and concerned for his son’s life, Chuck impersonates a waitress online and starts checking in with Franklin. But things begin to spiral when Franklin falls for this imaginary girl and wants nothing more than to meet her in person, as Chuck has inadvertently catfished his own son.”
