The official Press Play trailer for The Avenue’s upcoming sci-fi romantic drama has been released, starring Clara Rugaard and Lewis Pullman. The film is scheduled to arrive in the theaters and on digital on June 24.
The video highlights a love story that defies time as a young woman gets a chance at saving the love of her life through the magical mixtape they’ve made together.

Press Play is directed by Greg Björkman from a screenplay he co-wrote with James Bachelor, based on a story by Josh Boone. It stars Clara Rugaard (I Am Mother), Lewis Pullman (Catch-22), Lyrica Okano (Marvel’s Runaways), Christina Chang with Matt Walsh (Veep), and Danny Glover (Lethal Weapon).
“In the film, Laura and Harrison have the picture-perfect romance built on the foundation of a shared love of music,” reads the synopsis. “After a deadly accident, Laura is given the chance to save the love of her life when she discovers that their mixtape can transport her back in time.
