American Underdog is based on interviews with Warner and his memoir titled All Things Possible: My Story of Faith, Football and the First Miracle Season. The movie also stars Anna Paquin, Dennis Quaid, Cindy Hogan, Ser’Darius Blain, Adam Baldwin, Bruce McGill, Danny Vinson, Chance Kelly, Hayden Zaller, Cora Kate Wilkerson, and Nic Harris.
