Sony’s Morbius Trailer: The Line Between Hero and Villain Will Be Broken

Sony Pictures has dropped a new Morbius trailer, starring Oscar winner Jared Leto as the titular Living Vampire. The video features lots of new footage highlighting Michael Morbius’ transformation as well as his inner dilemma of choosing between becoming a hero or a villain. It also continues to tease its connection to the other Spider-Man films by referencing Venom and revealing a new look at Michael Keaton’s return as Vulture.

The film is scheduled to hit the theaters this January 2022. Its current theatrical release will pit the superhero film against the new Scream film, Hotel Transylvania: Transformia, and The 355 who are all set to debut within the same month.

He has an ongoing feud with the character Blade the Vampire Hunter in the comics.
