Needle in a Timestack Trailer Starring Leslie Odom Jr., Orlando Bloom, Cynthia Erivo & Freida Pinto

Lionsgate has released the official Needle in a Timestack trailer starring Leslie Odom Jr. (One Night in Miami…, Hamilton), Orlando Bloom (The Lord of the Rings franchise, Carnival Row), Cynthia Erivo (Harriet, Genius), and Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire, Hillbilly Elegy) in John Ridley’s sci-fi romance feature. The movie will have a limited theatrical release and will debut on Digital and On Demand on October 15, before becoming available on Blu-ray and DVD on October 19 (pre-order here).

“If love is in the form of a circle, what lines would you cross to be with your soulmate?” asks the official synopsis. “In this gripping, near-future love story directed by Oscar-winner John Ridley (12 Years a Slave, American Crime), Nick and Janine (Oscar nominees Leslie Odom, Jr. and Cynthia Erivo) live in marital bliss, until Janine’s ex-husband (Orlando Bloom) warps time to try to tear them apart using Nick’s college girlfriend (BAFTA nominee Freida Pinto). As Nick’s memories and reality disappear, he must decide what he’s willing to sacrifice in order to hold onto — or let go of — everything he loves. Can love endure in a future where time is fluid, and all of life may be just an illusion?

Written and directed by Ridley and based on the short story of the same name by Robert Silverberg, the movie also stars Jadyn Wong (Scorpion, Cosmopolis).
