Venom: Let There Be Carnage Clips Feature Cletus Kasady & Shriek

Four new clips from Sony Pictures’ highly-anticipated Marvel sequel Venom: Let There Be Carnage have surfaced online, featuring some extended scenes that were briefly teased in previous trailers. The film is currently slated to arrive in theaters on Friday, October 1.

The Venom: Let There Be Carnage clips, which you can check out below along with the film’s epic IMAX poster, give us a new look at Naomie Harris’ Frances Barrison/Shriek as well as a pivotal interaction between Eddie and Cletus Kasady, who insults Eddie which in turned provokes Venom into attacking the serial killer. The first clip also provides us a glimpse at one of Eddie and Venom’s many banters, where the titular symbiote breaks his nose.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage sees the return of Tom Hardy as the lethal protector Venom, one of Marvel’s most complex characters. It is directed by Andy Serkis from a screenplay written by Kelly Marcel, based on a story by Hardy and Marcel.

The sequel will also feature the returning cast members are Michelle Williams, Reid Scott, and Peggy Lu. It will also introduce Woody Harrelson as the maniacal serial killer Cletus Kasady/Carnage,  Naomie Harris as Frances Barrison/Shriek, and Stephen Graham as Detective Mulligan.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is based on the Marvel character created by Randy Schueller, Roger Stern, Tom DeFalco, Mike Zeck, and Ron Frenz. The sequel is being produced by Hardy, Marcel, Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker.

Since its debut in 2018, Venom was directed by Ruben Fleischer. It also starred Riz Ahmed as Carlton Drake/Riot. Despite receiving negative reviews from critics, the film had still earned a worldwide gross of over $800 million.
