Marvel Studios has revealed another behind-the-scenes featurette for their long-awaited Black Widow movie, featuring interviews by Marvel’s chief creative officer Kevin Feige, Scarlett Johansson, and Rachel Weisz. The film will finally make its debut this Friday, July 9 in theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access.
The new Black Widow featurette, which you can check out below, gives a highlight to the film’s future role in Phase 4 of the expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe as well as how it would allow fans to be able to look at previous MCU films in a different light. It also seemingly teases how the new characters that are set to be introduced in the upcoming film might also potentially be featured in future MCU movies or series.
In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller movie that will be set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
