Escape Room 2 Clips Tease an Electrifying First Challenge for Its Winners

Sony Pictures has released the first Escape Room: Tournament of Champions clips for their forthcoming survival horror thriller sequel, featuring the return of Taylor Russell and Logan Miller. The film is currently slated to make its debut in theaters on July 16, which pits it against another high-profile sequel in the form of Warner Bros. Pictures’ Space Jam: A New Legacy.

The videos, which you can check out in the player below (via Fandango), feature Russell and Miller’s characters as they realized that Minos has somehow devised a secret plan to gather all of its unknowing Escape Room winners. As the game starts, the scared and confused champions try to prepare themselves for what’s coming next, with the subway train beginning to get covered with electric charges.
