With only two months left to go before the long-awaited debut of Free Guy, 20th Century Studios has dropped a brand new trailer for director Shawn Levy’s upcoming action-comedy film, starring Ryan Reynolds as a video game background character. The video, which you can check out below along with the new poster, features new action-packed footage highlighting Guy as he tries to save his fictional world from getting deleted by Taika Waititi’s character Antoine.

Originally scheduled for a 2020 release, the film has been delayed four times now due to the ongoing pandemic, and is currently slated to arrive in theaters on August 13. Its current release date sees Free Guy going up against three competitors in the form of MGM’s Aretha Franklin biopic Respect, Sony’s Don’t Breathe 2, and Apple’s CODA.
