Reminiscence Trailer: Hugh Jackman Stars in New Sci-Fi Thriller Pic

Warner Bros. Pictures has released the official Reminiscence trailer for Westworld creator Lisa Joy’s upcoming feature directorial debut, starring Hugh Jackman and Rebecca Ferguson. The film is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters and on HBO Max on August 20, 2021.

The video features Jackman’s Nick Bannister, a private investigator of the mind, as he falls in love with his new client. However, following her sudden disappearance, he does everything he can to find her, while also discovering some new dark things about her throughout his search for the truth.

In Reminiscence, Nick Bannister, a private investigator of the mind, navigates the darkly alluring world of the past by helping his clients access lost memories. Living on the fringes of the sunken Miami coast, his life is forever changed when he takes on a new client, Mae. A simple matter of lost and found becomes a dangerous obsession. As Bannister fights to find the truth about Mae’s disappearance, he uncovers a violent conspiracy, and must ultimately answer the question: how far would you go to hold on to the ones you love?

The action sci-fi thriller will serve as a reunion between Oscar nominee Hugh Jackman and Golden Globe nominee Rebecca Ferguson, who have previously worked together in 2017’s The Greatest Showman. Joining them are Westworld star Thandiwe Newton, Cliff Curtis (Hobbs & Shaw), Oscar nominee Marina de Tavira (Roma), Daniel Wu (Warcraft), Mojean Aria (See), Brett Cullen (Joker), Natalie Martinez (The Stand), Angela Sarafyan (Westworld) and Nico Parker (Dumbo).

Reminiscence is written and directed by Lisa Joy in her feature-length directorial debut. The film is produced by Joy, Jonathan Nolan, Michael De Luca, and Aaron Ryder. The executive producers are Athena Wickham, Elishia Holmes and Scott Lumpkin.
