The moivie is based on the 2004 French film titled Le Convoyeur or Cash Truck.
Alongside Statham, the ensemble roster for the film includes Josh Hartnett (Inherit the Viper), Scott Eastwood (The Fate of the Furious), Holt McCallany (Mindhunter), Jeffrey Donovan (Let Him Go), Laz Alonso (The Boys), Raul Castillo (Army of the Dead), Niamh Algar (Censor) and Post Malone (Spenser Confidential). Wrath of Man is written and directed by Guy Ritchie, who is currently in production with both Statham and Hartnett for the upcoming global spy film Five Eyes.
