Survive the Night Trailer: Bruce Willis Stars in New Action Thriller

The official trailer for director Matt Eskandari’s forthcoming action thriller film Survive the Night has been released, featuring Bruce Willis as he tries to help his save their family from two home invaders. Also starring Chad Michael Murray, the film will arrive in select theaters and on Demand on May 22. Check out the video in the player below!

In Survive the Night (formerly titled as The Long Night), after his brother Mathias (Olson) is mortally wounded in a botched robbery, Jamie (Buckner) stalks trauma doctor Rich (Murray) from the hospital to his home. Jamie proceeds to hold Rich’s wife and daughter hostage as he orders Rich to operate on his brother. This doesn’t sit well with Rich who teams up with his estranged father, Frank, who is a retired sheriff, to ensure his family’s safety.

The film stars Golden Globe winner Bruce Willis (Die Hard film series) as Frank, Chad Michael Murray (House of Wax) as Rich, Shea Buckner as Jamie, Tyler Jon Olson as Matthias, Lydia Hull as Jan and Jessica Abrams as Rachel.

Survive the Night is directed by Matt Eskandari (12 Feet Deep) from a script written by Doug Wolfe. It is produced by Randall Emmett, George Furla, Shaun Sanghani, and Mark Stewart. The project marks the 16th collaboration between Willis and producers Randall Emmett and George Furla.

Bruce Willis is no stranger to the action genre as he famously starred in iconic films such as: Terry Gilliam’s 1995 film 12 Monkeys starring alongside Oscar winner Brad Pitt; Luc Besson’s 1997 film The Fifth Element opposite Gary Oldman and Milla Jovovich; the disaster film Armageddon which was directed by Michael Bay in 1998. His other notable film credits include: Die Hard film series, The Sixth Sense, Pulp Fiction, Red, Looper and Unbreakable.
