New 47 Meters Down: Uncaged clips reveal the dangers of cave diving
Ahead of the sequel’s theatrical release on Friday, Entertainment Studios has released four new clips from their upcoming survival thriller 47 Meters Down: Uncaged, revealing why you should never go on an unsupervised cave diving expedition. Check out the videos below! (via Bloody Disgusting).
47 Meters Down: Uncaged follows the story of four teen girls diving in a ruined underwater city, who quickly find themselves in a watery hell as their fun outing turns into heart-stopping fear when they learn they are not alone in the submerged caves. As they swim deeper into the claustrophobic labyrinth of caves they enter the territory of the deadliest shark species in the ocean.
The sequel will star John Corbett (My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Sex in the City) as Grant, Nia Long (Boyz N the Hood, Empire) as Jennifer, Sophie Nelisse (The Book Thief) as Mia, Corinne Foxx as Sasha, Sistine Stallone as Nicole, Brianne Tju (Light as a Feather, Scream) as Alexa, Davi Santos (Polaroid, Mr. Box Office) as Ben, and Khylin Rhambo (Ender’s Game, Teen Wolf, The First Family) as Carl.
Following in the footsteps of the original, Uncaged is a deep-sea horror/thriller, directed by Johannes Roberts (The Other Side of the Door), from a script he is co-writing with his 47 Meters Down co-writer, Ernest Riera. James Harris, Mark Lane, Wayne Marc Godfrey and Robert Jones of The Fyzz Facility are producing 48 Meters Down. Altitude Film Sales, the sales agent on its predecessor and instrumental in realizing the project, will be executive producers on the sequel.
The film is scheduled to hit theaters on August 16.
