ASA Pictures has acquired worldwide rights to the new comedy One Last Night, written and directed by Anthony Sabet. The film will hit theaters on August 16 and VOD on August 20. They have also provided ComingSoon.net with the exclusive trailer, which you can check out in the player below!
Executive produced by Matt DeMarco (also serving as an additional writer), One Last Night stars Brian Baumgartner (The Office), Luke Brandon Field (Jojo Rabbit), Rachele Schank (Legion), Ali Cobrin (Neighbors) and Kelly Stables (Superstore).
On their first date, Alex and Zoe venture out to see a movie at a local theater. The film ends and the two become so engaged in a heated discussion that they do not notice the theater closing, leaving them locked inside. Their adventure starts out light and comical as they search for an escape and quickly find themselves falling for one another. Suddenly, a secret is revealed about Alex that abruptly changes Zoe’s perception of the night. Perhaps, their escape room experience was not as accidental as she initially thought.
Baumgartner became a household name as Dunder Mifflin’s “slow dude” in Accounting, ‘Kevin Malone,’ on NBC’s Emmy-winning series The Office. After its 9 year run, Brian continues to make regular appearances on fan favorite TV shows, including Life in Pieces, The Goldbergs and Criminal Minds. In addition to One Last Night, Brian will also star opposite Brooke Shields and Jason Alexander in My Boyfriend’s Meds, hitting theaters August 30.
