Holland Reveals Which Snap Created Dimensional Rift in Far From Home

In a recent interview (via Comic Book Movie), lead actor Tom Holland has confirmed a new information about Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios’ highly-anticipated sequel Spider-Man: Far From Home, revealing that Thanos’ snap was the one responsible for creating a rift through the Multiverse dimensions. “Mysterio in this movie is actually my new best friend,” Holland said. “We team up together to fight these Elemental creatures because when Thanos snapped his fingers, these creatures came through the dimensional rift.”

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever.

Confirmed Spider-Man: Far From Home cast members include Tom Holland as your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, plus Zendaya as “MJ,” Jacob Batalon as Ned, with Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, and Jake Gyllenhaal will play Mysterio. New additions include comedian J.B. Smoove and Numan Acar (Aladdin) as Dimitri. MCU veterans Samuel L. Jackson (Captain Marvel) and Cobie Smulders will also join Holland’s Spider-Man sequel as Nick Fury and Maria Hill respectively.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is directed by Jon Watts and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, all returning from first film Spider-Man: Homecoming. The movie will hit theaters on July 2.
