Ali Wong and Randall Park Reconnect in New Always Be My Maybe Trailer

Netflix has released the official trailer for their upcoming romantic comedy movie Always Be My Maybe which is led by Ali Wong (Tuca & Bertie) and Randall Park (Ant-Man and the Wasp). Also featuring our first look at Keanu Reeves’ character, you can check out the video below.

Written by and starring the American Housewife and Fresh Off the Boat stars, the film follows two childhood sweethearts who have a falling out and don’t speak to each other for 15 years. But the two reconnect when Sasha (Wong), a chef opening a new restaurant in San Francisco, bumps into Marcus (Park), a happily struggling musician that still lives at home and works for his dad, and the sparks fly once again, but the two must figure out if they can fit in each other’s new worlds.

In addition to Wong and Park, the film stars Keanu Reeves (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum), Michelle Buteau (2 Dope Queens), Vivian Bang (Sullivan & Son), Karan Soni (Deadpool 2), Charlyne Yi (We Bare Bears), Daniel Dae Kim (Hawaii Five-0), James Saito (Big Eyes) and Susan Park (Vice Principals).

The film will Fresh Off the Boat creator Nahnatchka Khan’s directorial debut from a script co-penned by Wong, Park, and Michael Golamco. It is produced by Nathan Kahane (The Disaster Artist), and  Erin Westerman along with Park and Wong. Brendan Ferguson also serves an executive producer for the movie.

Always Be My Maybe is set to hit Netflix and theaters in a limited release on May 31.
