Cameron was also the author of the best-selling book A Dog’s Purpose which was adapted into a film with Cameron and Michon also writing the film’s script. The movie premiered in 2017 starring Josh Gad (Frozen 2), Dennis Quaid and KJ Apa. A sequel, titled A Dog’s Journey is already in development with Quaid and Gad set to reprise their roles when it’s released sometime next year.
