A Shaun of the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon Teaser Trailer Debuts

StudioCanal has released the first teaser for A Shaun of the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, a sequel to the 2014 animated adventure Shaun of the Sheep Movie. The teaser starts with a farmer who spots a giant crop circle in his field one night, only to realize it seems to have lured an alien spacecraft to Earth, where it then beams Shaun the sheep aboard. The world’s favorite sheep returns to the big screen in A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, the sequel to his hugely-successful and highly-acclaimed Oscar-nominated 2015 cinematic debut. With the distinct look of Aardman Studios animation, Shaun and the Flock are back for another epic and hilarious journey, in what will be their biggest and most exciting adventure yet.

When an impish and adorable alien with amazing powers crash-lands near Mossy Bottom Farm, Shaun soon sees an opportunity for alien-powered fun and adventure, setting off on a mission to shepherd the intergalactic visitor home before a sinister organization can capture her…can Shaun and the flock avert Farmageddon on Mossy Bottom Farm before it’s too late?

A Shaun of the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon is directed by Richard Phelan and Will Becher, from a script by Jon Brown and Mark Burton. Paul Kewley will produce with executive producers Mark Burton and Richard Starzak, Peter Lord, Nick Park and David Sproxton.

Farmageddon continues the production partnership with Aardman and StudioCanal following the success of Shaun the Sheep Movie, directed by Mark Burton and Richard Starzak, which grossed $106 million worldwide. StudioCanal is co-financing and will distribute in its own territories, the UK, France, Germany, Australia and New Zealand, selling worldwide at AFM.

The sequel is expected to hit theaters on April 5.
