Benedict Cumberbatch and Alice Eve Talk About Star Trek Into Darkness

Last week, it was revealed that Benedict Cumberbatch will be playing ‘John Harrison’ and Alive Eve will be Carol Marcus in J.J. Abrams’ upcoming sequel Star Trek Into Darkness (if you missed today’s new extended trailer, check it out by clicking here). The pair were on hand after the film’s prologue was screened to talk about the film and you can check out the interview below (via IGN).

Opening in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on May 17, the film also stars John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin and Peter Weller.

The film finds the crew of the Enterprise called back home where they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization that has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis.

With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction.

As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.

The film has also launched a new viral website at AreYouThe1701.com. There’s currently no content outside of the ability to register for updates, but that will likely be changing in the very near future. You can access the site by clicking at the banner at the bottom of the page.
