Vincent D’Onofrio (“Law & Order: Criminal Intent”), Chris Marquette (The Girl Next Door) and Anton Yelchin (Star Trek) are set to star in the English-language debut of Indian director Vidhu Vinod Chopra (3 Idiots), Variety reports. The supporting cast includes Thomas Jane (The Mist), Sean Patrick Flanery (The Boondock Saints) and Maria Valverde (Three Steps Above Heaven).
Although plot details are light, the film is said to focus on gang warfare around the border between the United States and Mexico. It is written by Chopra and Abhijat Joshi, based on an original story by Chopra.
Broken Horses is being produced by Chopra alongside Subhash Dhar, David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman.
