Sony Pictures has revealed new release dates for The Crow remake, starring Jason Momoa (Aquaman), as well as upcoming films A Dog’s Way Home and Miss Bala.

The Crow is set to hit theaters on October 11, 2019. The gritty reboot of the 1994 cult classic features Momoa playing the lead iconic character of Eric Draven who returns from the grave as The Crow on a mission to avenge his wife’s murder so that his soul can finally rest. The original film is known for its breakthrough visual style as well as its unique production design and cinematography. The remake is directed by Corin Hardy and written by Nick Cave.

A Dog’s Way Home is slated for release on January 11, 2019, and stars Edward James Olmos, Alexandra Shipp, Ashley Judd, Jonah Haur-King, and Wes Studi. The film, adapted from the best-seller by W. Bruce Cameron, chronicles the heartwarming adventure of Bella, a dog who embarks on an epic 400-mile journey home after she is separated from her beloved human, Lucas, an aspiring med student and VA hospital volunteer. Bella touches the lives of many during her unwavering quest; from an orphaned mountain lion cub to a homeless veteran down on his luck, Bella brings joy and comfort to everyone she meets with her unique spirit and faith. The movie is directed by Charles Martin Smith and written by Cameron.

Miss Bala, starring Gina Rodriguez and Matt Lauria, will debut on January 25, 2019. The film is a planned remake of the 2011 movie of the same name where a beauty contest winner is forced to work for a crime boss after she witnesses a murder. Gina will play Gloria Meyer, who finds herself a pawn in a dangerous game being played by the CIA, the DEA, and a charismatic young crime boss named Lino. The remake of the 2011 nominee for Best Foreign Film Oscar is being directed by Catherine Hardwicke from the adapted screenplay by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer.
