FilmDistrict has announced an official release date of April 5, 2013 for their crime thriller Dead Man Down. Set to star Colin Farrell, Noomi Rapace, Dominic Cooper and Terrence Howard, the official description is as follows:
Victor (Farrell), a professional killer and the right hand man to an underground crime lord in New York City, is seduced and blackmailed by Beatrice (Rapace), a crime victim seeking retribution. Their chemistry and intense relationship leads them to execute a violent and cathartic plan for revenge.
The film is directed by Niels Arden Oplev (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) with a script by J. H. Wyman. Neal H. Moritz and J. H. Wyman are producing.
