Here are the 15 documentaries that are eligible for Oscar voting for the 90th Academy Awards
Today, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the 15 films that are eligible for voting in the Documentary Feature category for the 90th Academy Awards. There were 170 documentaries that were originally submitted in this category. A number of them, including Chasing Coral, Faces Places and City of Ghosts, have been getting Oscar buzz for some time now.
The 15 documentaries are listed below in alphabetical order by title, with their production companies:

The Academy’s Documentary Branch determined the shortlist in a preliminary round of voting. Documentary Branch members will now select the five nominees from among the 15 titles.
Nominations for the 90th Academy Awards will be announced on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.
The 90th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, and will be televised live on the ABC Television Network at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT. The Oscars also will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.
