Amazon September 2017 Movie and TV Titles Announced

We have a list of new Amazon September titles coming to Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Video which you can check out below!

September brings new seasons of three highly-anticipated Amazon Original Series and one Original Movie available exclusively for Prime members to stream or download at no additional cost to their membership:

One Mississippi S2: The Amazon Original Series directed by Tig Notaro, is a semi-autobiographical comedy that stars Notaro as a version of herself, also named Tig, reliving a version of the real-life events that comprised the most difficult year of her life. In addition to HD, One Mississippi will be available in UHD on compatible HDR devices. (9/8/17)
The Lost City of Z: The Amazon Original Movie starring Charlie Hunnam and Robert Pattinson, is a biographical drama, based on British explorer Col. Percival Fawcett, who disappeared while searching for a mysterious city in the Amazon in the 1920s. (9/15/17)
Transparent S4: The Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning Amazon Original Series is created by Jill Soloway and stars Jeffrey Tambor. In season four, the Pfefferman’s take off on a spiritual and political journey as they dig deep into their family’s history. In addition to HD, Transparent will be available in UHD on compatible HDR devices. (9/22/17)
Wishenpoof! S2a: The Amazon Original Kids Series, written by Angela Santomero, is an animated pre-school series that revolves around Bianca, who uses wish magic to solve life’s problems in her own creative ways teaching lessons through imaginative play. Wishenpoof! will be available in SD and HD on compatible HDR devices. (9/26/17)

In addition to Amazon Original Series, licensed TV series coming to Prime Video next month include season one of the Israeli romantic comedy Beauty and the Baker. Additionally, action films like Ben-Hur and The Magnificent Seven (Chris Pratt), along with blockbuster hits like Wedding Crashers (Owen Wilson) and thrillers like The Hunter’s Prayer join existing films on Prime Video. Additionally, as part of Amazon’s exclusive partnership with the NFL, Prime Video will be the exclusive global live streaming home for 10 Thursday Night Football games as well as one Christmas Day game this 2017 season. The first game available to stream on Prime Video will be the Bears vs. Packers on Thursday, September 28th.

Amazon Video also welcomes a number of new releases available for purchase including the swashbuckling film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales starring Johnny Depp, along with Wonder Woman and comedy The Little Hours featuring Dave Franco and Nick Offerman.

Next month through Amazon Channels, Prime members subscribed to STARZ can enjoy the highly-anticipated return of Outlander S3 and HBO subscribers can watch the new series, The Deuce, as well as the Academy-Award nominated film Hidden Figures. Through the Fullscreen channel, ‘80s and ‘90s classic comedies will be available starring Jim Carrey like, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, along with hits like Reservoir Dogs, Legally Blonde, and She’s All That.
