A new take on Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” is underway at Sony Pictures, Deadline reports. This version will arrive through screenwriter Jason Keller and producers Palak Patel and Joe Roth.
Little is known about the specific take of Keller’s pitch, but it is said to be a period tale, likely taking place around the time of the original text in the late 19th century.
Keller is best known for writing Machine Gun Preacher and is also responsible for the Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger post-The Expendables 2 team-up, The Tomb.
