Amanda Seyfried Makes Her Debut as Lovelace in the First Still


The first photo is now online, courtesy of EW, from Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman’s Lovelace. Starring Amanda Seyfried in the titular role, the film follows Linda Boreman’s rise to fame as iconic porn star Linda Lovelace of 1972’s Deep Throat, and her subsequent transformation into feminist, anti-porn activist Linda Marchiano. The story is told through the perspective of three interviewers at various stages of her life.

Also starring Peter Sarsgaard (pictured), Sharon Stone, Juno Temple, Wes Bentley, Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Robert Patrick, James Franco, Eric Roberts, Adam Brody and Demi Moore, Lovelace is now in production with a currently unspecified release date.
