The Hotel Artemis cast grows as the Drew Pearce sci-fi thriller adds four

Three more have today been added to the cast of the upcoming science fiction thriller Hotel ArtemisThe Ink Factory and Lionsgate have revealed that Golden Globe nominee Sterling K. Brown (American Crime Story), Charlie Day (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Jenny Slate (Obvious Child), Academy Award nominee Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park) have signed on opposite the previously-announced Jodie Foster, Dave Bautista and Sofia Boutella.

Written and directed by Drew Pearce, Hotel Artemis is set in the near future and follows a nurse (Foster) who runs an underground hospital for Los Angeles’ most sinister criminals, and finds that one of her patients is actually there to assassinate another.

Sterling K. Brown won an Emmy for his recent performance on The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. He currently stars on NBC’s Golden Globe-nominated dramedy hit, This Is Us, and can be seen coming up in Marvel StudiosBlack Panther and 20th Century Fox‘s The Predator.

Jeff Goldblum can soon be seen in the MCU himself as part of the cast of Thor: Ragnarok.

Best known for his role as Charlie Kelly on FX’s hit comedy series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Charlie Day most recently starred in Richie Keen’s Fist Fight for Warner Bros. and John Krasinski’s The Hollars for Sony Pictures Classics. He will next be seen in Universal Pictures’ Pacific Rim: Uprising.

Slate can next be seen in Landlinewhich reteams her with the filmmakers behind Obvious Child.  She can soon be seen starring opposite Zachary Quinto and Jon Hamm in Aardvark, which premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival, and opposite Jack Black in Polka King, which premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.

Golden Globe and Emmy winner Marc Platt (La La Land, Grease: Live) is producing alongside Adam Siegel and The Ink Factory’s Stephen Cornwell and Simon Cornwell.
