Emma Watson Would Love to Do a Beauty and the Beast Sequel

As if Walt Disney Pictures needed any more incentive now that the movie has earned $1.1 billion on a $160 million budget, Emma Watson says she would love to do a Beauty and the Beast sequel.

Talking with Access Hollywood at the premiere for The Circle, which co-stars Tom Hanks and opens in theaters today, Watson said: “I always thought that Belle would become a teacher and she would run the library in the castle and open it up to the village. This was where I was going.”

What do you think? Do you have any ideas for a Beauty and the Beast sequel? Could it be something like the animated Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

Directed by Bill Condon, Beauty and the Beast stars Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Josh Gad as Lefou, Ewan McGregor as Lumière, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, Audra McDonald as Garderobe, and Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts.
