Amazon November 2016 movie and TV titles announced
Amazon has announced their list of new titles arriving on Prime Video and Amazon Video in November, along with notable highlights from Amazon Channels. Check out the Amazon November selections below!
Fall is finally here and presents the perfect opportunity to curl up on the couch and binge your favorite shows. November brings two highly-anticipated Amazon Original Series available for Prime members to stream or download on Prime Video at no additional cost to their membership, including Red Oaks Season 2 starring Craig Roberts, Paul Reiser and Jennifer Grey. Season 2 welcomes viewers back to the summer of 1986, when Top Gun was #1 at the box office and life was much simpler… for everyone but the clueless members and misfit staffers of Red Oaks Country Club.
In addition to Amazon Originals, licensed TV series coming to Prime Video next month include season one of AMC’s highly-acclaimed The Night Manager starring Tom Hiddleston, season two of E!’s The Royals and Season 1 of STARZ’s mini-series Flesh and Bone. Additionally, comedy films like Barbershop and actions films like Die Another Day join existing films on Prime Video.
In anticipation of the 40th anniversary of Rocky this December, Prime Video will be home to the full collection of movies including Creed. Catch up on your favorite movies from the collection, or binge them all at no additional cost to your Prime Membership.
Amazon Video also welcomes a number of new titles available for purchase this month including films like Suicide Squad, starring Will Smith and Viola Davis, and Star Trek Beyond, an action-packed sci-fi favorite. Amazon Video also brings the latest in TV with new episodes airing the day after broadcast of Wentworth Season 1, Salem Season 3 and Mars Season 1.
Lastly, two big releases for Prime members who sign up for a Showtime subscription on Amazon Channels. In an unprecedented partnership between The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Showtime, the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning late night host Stephen Colbert will bring his brand of satire and social commentary to a live Showtime election special. Stephen Colbert’s Live Election Night Democracy’s Series Finale: Who’s Going To Clean Up This Sh*t? will air on Tuesday, November 8 at 11 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. PT. Prime members who sign up for Showtime will be able to live stream Stephen Colbert on web browsers, Fire TV, Fire Tablet, and Android devices. Also in November, season three of Showtime’s The Affair kicks off.
