Michael Cera Finds Magic, Magic

Michael Cera has set up his first post-Scott Pilgrim vs. the World project with an indie thriller called Magic, Magic, Variety reports.

The film, to be directed by Sebastian Silva (whose 2009 film, The Maid was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Feature), is said to feature a girl on vacation in Chile who begins to “lose control of her mental faculties.”

There’s no specific role listed for Cera, but it’s noted that the film’s tone is a distinct change of pace for the oft-comedic actor and it is possible that Magic, Magic will be produced as, a least partially, a Spanish language film.
