With less than three months to go until the film’s release, new Assassin’s Creed photos have been released via Total Film. You can view the Assassin’s Creed photos in the gallery below!
Michael Fassbender (X-Men: Apocalypse, Macbeth) leads the cast of the film alongside Marion Cotillard (The Dark Knight Rises, Inception), Michael K. Williams (The Wire, Ghostbusters), Jeremy Irons (The Borgias, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) and Brendan Gleeson (Edge of Tomorrow, the Harry Potter franchise). Justin Kurrzel, who previously worked with both Fassbender and Cotillard on Macbeth, is directing the film.

The Assassin’s Creed movie follows a character by the name of Callum Lynch who, through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, is able to experience the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.
Assassin’s Creed is set for a December 21, 2016 release.
