Variety reports that Jake Gyllenhaal is in early talks to star in a gritty cop drama from writer/director David Ayer titled End of Watch.
Not much is known about the plot other than it follows the friendship between longtime partners.
Ayer’s writing credits include Training Day, S.W.A.T., Harsh Times and The Fast and the Furious. He most recently directed Street Kings, starring Keanu Reeves.
